Richard has been involved with more than 50 clinic implementations involving a range of vendors, and so is also steeped in the dynamics of clinic performance. We have designed WHA to be a specialized benefits consulting firm focused on helping employers and unions identify, vet and contract with worksite clinic vendors that improve health outcomes and deliver timely cost reductions. We’ll also provide audits of existing clinics to determine whether they’re performing. And we’ve structured our arrangements to reward the brokers that brought us in while reflecting well on them.
The opportunity is significant because, as it turns out, the evidence shows that most clinics don’t currently provide measurable value. A 2015 Mercer survey found that only 2 in 5 clinic sponsors can show ROI data, suggesting that most clinic vendor choices are made based on reasons other than demonstrated performance. Worse, in most of these situations, neither the clinic vendors nor the consultants are held accountable, and the clinic sponsor typically sacrifices significant dollars that should have been realized in savings.
Let us work with your firm, assisting with the specialized knowledge that choosing a high performing clinic demands. Get in touch.
Thanks for your time.
