Student Accident Coverage For Texas School Districts

Student Accident insurance coverages available:

  • Excess/secondary student accident insurance coverage
  • Deductible and coinsurance options and sub-limits can be added on certain internal benefits, such as physical therapy, orthopedic devices, etc.
  • Fully insured or self-funded options available

Most policies are written on an excess basis, with limits typically ranging from $25,000 to $5,000,000 for PreK-12 schools and $25,000 to $90,000 for colleges and universities.

Excess/Secondary student accident insurance coverage is designed to supplement and coordinate with existing primary medical policies; however, if no primary plan is in place, this policy will act as primary coverage within the terms of the accident policy.

There are different plan designs available with deductible and coinsurance options and sub-limits that can be added on certain internal benefits, such as physical therapy, orthopedic devices, etc.
