I’m writing to share that VytlOne has signed an agreement for MedImpact to acquire our PBM and our affiliate Gateway Health Partners. The proposed transaction does not include VytlOne’s 340B or pharmacy fulfillment assets.
We believe this agreement creates a strong path forward for our PBM clients and members. MedImpact shares our commitment to making pharmacy benefits work better and brings more than 40 years of experience as an independent PBM. Its scale, technology and advanced clinical capabilities will provide even more choice and flexibility, additional tools to manage pharmacy costs and continued support for the best member experience.
MedImpact is developing more flexible options that provide plan sponsors with greater visibility into pharmacy economics and better align PBM incentives with their goals. Combined with VytlOne’s clinical expertise and best-in-class client service and operations, these capabilities would create meaningful long-term value for your organization.
Continuity of service is one of our highest priorities. VytlOne and MedImpact have worked together for several years, which we expect will support a smooth transition if the transaction is approved. There are no immediate changes to your services, member experience or current relationships. It remains business as usual while the transaction undergoes regulatory review.
