World Congress announces the 2018 Winners and Finalists at the 2018 Inaugural Health Value Awards Ceremony, Marriott Wardman Park Hotel

BOSTON & WASHINGTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–The winners of the 2018 Health Value Awards in 11 categories were announced yesterday by the World Health Care Congress in the Thurgood Marshall Room of the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel. The awards presentation was hosted by Ian Morrison, Futurist and Author of: Future Tense: The Business Realities of the Next Ten Years, The Second Curve, Health Care in the New Millennium: Vision, Values and Leadership. A reception followed in the Atrium of the hotel. A glass flame award was presented to each winner and a stone crafted plaque was presented to each finalist. This year marked the Inaugural presentation of the awards, sponsored by World Congress, the Validation Institute and the Health Rosetta Institute. Silver, Gold and Diamond Winners were recognized, as well as, the finalists.

47 finalists and 11 top Diamond winners in 11 categories. The ceremony will be broadcast, live, by American Medicine Today on ABC affiliates across the country and iHeart Radio in one month. The winners were:
The Third Party Administrators, Direct Care Providers and Product/Program Providers were rigorously evaluated by the outside, independent, Validation Institute for data measurement, quality and completeness. Also, evaluated were health improvement, financial savings and correlation between interventions and health outcomes. The Honorary categories illuminated issues of national importance. The judges’ criteria for Validated and Non-Validated categories included a value proposition, longitudinal data to support better health outcomes at lower cost; performance metrics, credible methodology, purchaser testimonials, scalability, durability, disruptive approach and willingness to assume financial risk.
