Regional Meetings Cancelled
After promising free food and gift cards to Texas school district officials the TSHB has rescinded the offer.
Thank you for your interest in attending the 2024 Texas Schools Health Benefits Program (TSHBP) Regional Informational Meeting. We have learned that many districts are currently working through issues related to the loss of Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) funds.
Because of this, we are cancelling the scheduled meetings.

If districts are facing a loss of funds and if TSHBP can save districts money why cancel the meetings? I would have thought of a more plausible excuse like “Our dog eat our power point presentation.”
