What’s This Going To Cost Me? Sorry, I Can’t Tell You!

New national poll confirms what we’ve known all along: Americans want real prices in healthcare—and they want them before they get the bill.

The latest survey of over 2,000 likely voters by Echelon Insights, commissioned by PatientsRightsAdvocate.org, shows overwhelming, bipartisan support for healthcare price transparency:

▪️ 96% of Americans say they deserve to know the price of care before they receive it.
▪️ 91% of Republicans, 83% of independents, and even 74% of Democrats support President Trump’s executive order requiring real prices from hospitals and insurers—not just estimates.
▪️ 94% agree that to make America healthy again, patients must be able to seek care without the fear and uncertainty caused by hidden prices.
▪️ 94% say lower healthcare prices are a big deal for families trying to get by.
▪️ 83% believe that price transparency will help bring down healthcare costs by making it harder for hospitals and insurers to overcharge.
▪️ And over 90% agree that it’s unfair to make patients sign financial agreements before being given an actual price quote.

Even in our polarized political climate, this issue transcends party lines. Transparency isn’t a partisan talking point—it’s a consumer protection issue. Voters are sending a clear message: enforce the rules, go bold, and restore fairness.

We’re proud to support policies that prioritize patients over powerful interests.
