Elon Musk has transformed Boca Chich beach into a mega space exploration center by investing over $3 billion mere yards from the Gulf of Mexico. Last we heard there are more than 3,000 employees working there.
Reliable sources within the local provider community inform us Elon’s representatives have reached out to area medical providers seeking competitive reimbursement rates but at a recent meeting with a Brownsville hospital things did not go as well as planned. We can only imagine what happened.
Local providers sensing opportunities are hedging their bets by seeking collaborative introductory efforts through local and state politicians. Provider groups are circling, looking for a safe landing at Boca Chica beach and nearby environs. The time honored method of cold calling may be their best bet.
Will local providers such as Frontier Direct Care be successful in landing this case? It will be interesting to see how this turns out.
