The Benefits Manager is responsible for directing and planning the day-to-day operations of the University of the Incarnate Word’s self-funded medical and dental plans, other ancillary insurance benefits, and the 403(b) retirement plans.
The Benefits Manager works with consultants to investigate and evaluate new benefit programs, improve existing programs, and supervise and monitor benefits administration. In addition, the Benefits Manager responds to employee inquires and provides excellent customer service.
