Most traditional benefits brokers are wrapping up Turd Polish season (aka Open Enrollment). You know, that process of trying to make the “pay more, get less” benefits discussion that happens every year.
Fortunately, forward-looking benefits pros have cast aside the tyranny of low expectations that the best you can hope for is a less bad increase each year. Health Rosetta advisors love this time of year as they get to share how deductibles, co-pays, etc. are being eliminated or reduced. As you think about 2019 goals, wouldn’t it be nice to eliminate Turd Polish season?

That is kinda funny until you really think about open enrollment. Insurance benefits have become my greatest challenge as an HR professional trying to maintain good benefits at a reasonable price and keep employees happy. The best I can hope for is 2 out of 3.
