
WASHINGTON: In an unprecedented and unexpected move today, the White House announced President Trump has signed a new Executive Order allowing private health insurers access to the Medicare network of participating providers.
Self-funded health care plans will also qualify for the program.
It is anticipated plan sponsors utilizing the Medicare network will achieve substantial savings of 80% or more on health care costs.
Excerpt’s from White House announcement:
“The federal government will rent access to the Medicare network of providers effective April 1, 2025. Access fees, comparable to the private market, are projected to generate enough revenue to purchase health insurance for those who don’t want it, need it, or who can’t afford it.”
“Balance billing by health care givers will be prohibited.”
“President Trump, in his promise to the American people, continues to find means to provide for the health care needs of every American. This Executive Order accomplishes that goal.”
“Any monies left over will be invested back into the Medicare program, or applied to additional fringe benefits for members of Congress. We believe this strategy will enjoy full bi-partisan support and overwhelming backing by working class Americans.“

President Trump will hold a national televised press conference tonight, 9:00 pm CST to address the American people.
