You are what you eat…………..
Years ago I spent two weeks in the Amazon basin fishing for Peacock Bass. We traveled up and down tributaries often passing, and sometimes stopping, at small villages along the way.
For two weeks we ate what the locals ate. Lots of fish and allegator, rice and beans. There was no evidence of obesity among the local population. All were slender and healthy while those of us from America were overweight in varying degrees.
When I got back home I decided to eat smarter. I lost 20 pounds and felt more energetic than I had in years. It’s all about what and how much you eat. But it takes will power.
Few have the willpower required for diet discipline and look to Will Power medication for a cure. Ozempic and other weight loss drugs suppress hunger by slowing down the digestive system, leaving food to rot longer in the stomach and digestive tract. This effectively hoodwinks the will-powerless brain into believing a false sense of fullness.
Organic will power or drug induced will power have something in common. Both succeed in reducing food intake. It’s that simple.
