HMOs Rise From The American Health Care Rubble

HMOs are simply narrow networks, nothing more and nothing less. There is no coverage at all for out-of-network care except for emergent care.
PPO plans are more expensive than HMO plans. To stay competitive in the market insurers are expanding HMO plan offerings.
