If Texas House Bill 573 passes this legislative session Health Care Sharing Ministries will be prohibited from certain advertising such as touting their financial strength and past performance to provide health care benefits for their members…………… even if its true!
Here is a part of the bill:
A health care sharing ministry may not make a direct or indirect representation that it:
(1) is operating in a financially sound manner; or
(2) has a successful history of meeting members’ medical costs.
