MCALLEN, TEXAS – Gilberto ‘Beto’ Garcia, Jr., is president and CEO of both St. Anthony’s Home Healthcare Services and Guardian eHealth Solutions.
Both companies are based in McAllen, Texas.
Rio Grande Guardian editor Steve Taylor held a Zoom conversation with Garcia, a Rio Grande Valley native, because of a recent story in The New York Times. It said that during the coronavirus crisis, telemedicine has advanced ten years. Garcia, whose company provides telemedicine services, agreed.
In addition to the advances made with telemedicine, Garcia spoke about his offer to hospitals and doctors: taking COVID-19 patients off their hands! He says his company has the ability to look after them.
