Incorporated in 1971, Community Action Corporation of South Texas (CACOST) is a private 501 c (3) nonprofit with 53 years of progressive and uninterrupted experience providing high quality services to South Texans.
As one of the largest and leading multi-service Community Action Agencies (CAA) in Texas, CACOST provides services across a 16-county service area that stretches over 18,000 sq. mi.
Our mission is to continuously improve the lives of South Texans by providing high quality health care, education, housing and economic opportunities to reduce poverty through services and partnerships.
