Giving employees daddy’s unlimited credit card and telling them they can go anywhere they want for treatment and their out-of-pocket expense will be the same no matter where they go or who they see, is the dumbest thing employers can do to their employees.
It’s hurting employees through lower wages, higher out-of-pocket expenses, and more seriously, possibly poor medical outcomes.
Yet most employers tout “We take care of our employees, employees come first!”
