Helping People Feel (and look) Better In Deep South Texas

“The Lower Rio Grande Valley, like many other communities in the United States, is facing a diabetes epidemic. The growing health crisis of widespread diabetes threatens individuals, families, the health system, and the prosperity of the Rio Grande Valley community.” SOURCE: Preventing Diabetes in the Rio Grande Valley – FSG

The Valley Baptist Legacy Foundation has noted that “In the lower Rio Grande Valley, over 75% of our population is overweight, with almost 40% classified as clinically obese. This is much higher than the state or national levels. Notably, obesity is significantly more prevalent among Hispanics, who represent 87 percent of our population.”

Plan sponsors pay a hefty price for medical care for their employees these days. Obesity, hypertension and diabetes are major driving factors. If these can be better managed and controlled, medical costs will reduce, saving both plan sponsors and plan members alike. Better health makes for a happier more productive life.

Tina Taylor in Raymondville, Texas is on a mission to help Valley residents achieve better health through her managed medical weight loss program tailored to individual needs.

I am the founder of Balance Hormone & Weight Loss Clinic, located in Raymondville, Tx.

I am passionate about delivering patient-centered care not only to South Texas but all Texas residents. I have had the privilege of improving the health and well-being of thousands as a Registered Nurse since 1996 in various settings including critical care, emergency, and flight nursing. In 2016, I became a Nurse Practitioner and spent over six years in acute care as a hospitalist Nurse Practitioner treating acutely ill individuals. The experience ultimately fueled my desire to help others prevent and reduce their risk of developing chronic diseases such as obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, and heart disease through hormone optimization with hormone replacement therapy & weight management.

I am committed to improving your health and quality of life and I look forward to guiding you on your journey to a healthier you!

I’m definitely interested! But first answer me this: Do I have to give up grandma’s delicious homemade enchiladas? If so, how do you expect me to tell grandma her enchiladas have been killing me all these years?
