So, you know how MEC plans have been under mandate to cover this testing as well. MEC plans also are not designed to cover ER visits. But I saw several MEC plan claims from a consultant that were exorbitant. Two of these claims were in the $5000 range and one, a plan member visited an ER, they ran a covid test and the plan was liable for the covid test and the ER visit, some $10,000!
