Lose weight the natural way.

I met two young and attractive ladies, one from Cuero and the other from Hallettsville today at the Cuero Christmas Festival. There were crowds of people of all ages enjoying the music and festivities, meandering around the old downtown part of Cuero where historic buildings are located.
Set up along the sidewalks on Main Street were vendors busy displaying handicrafts of all sorts and other neat things. The atmosphere was more of a friendly “Hi, how are you? Where are you from” sort of thing with barely a noticeable commercial atmosphere of “I’m here because I want to sell you something.” The Christmas spirit was pervasive. The music was great.
If Small Town Atmosphere could be bottled and sold the world would be a better place.
I enjoyed meeting quite a few interesting people. A retired military flyboy (“We take care of you Ground Pounders”) was selling beautiful, handcrafted pens. “Sir, may I ask you something?” he said as I was admiring his wares. “Are you veteran?” Another fellow was selling what he claimed to be award winning pies. “These pies cannot be beat in flavor and freshness!” he said. When I responded “Sorry, I don’t have much of a sweet tooth” he replied “Understood! In that case I have here, just for you and those with matching tastebuds, bottles of home canned pickled rattlesnake balls! How many do you want?” We both got a good laugh out of that.
Then I met Lauren and her partner. “What do you have here?” I asked.
“We are selling better health and a happier life!” said one whose name I soon learned was Lauren.
“How so?” I asked
Lauren picked up a small box and said “This product helps people lose weight. I’ve lost 25 pounds and my partner here has lost 55 pounds using it!”
“Holy Smoke!” I thought. These two certainly make for good advertising for weight loss as they both looked great!
“My clients might be interested in learning about this since they are spending thousands and thousands of dollars on employees taking expensive weight reducing drugs like Ozempic” I thought out loud. “Have you partnered with anyone in the medical community?”
“Yes, that’s one of our best sources for referrals! We work with Dr. Icantrememberhisname in Victoria, and Dr. Icantrememberhisorhernameeither in……”
