First Primary Care Expands To Corpus Christi, Texas

First Primary Care is expanding their direct primary care services to Corpus Christi, Texas.

SAME DAY APPOINTMENTS AND RESPONSE TIMES

Patients often wait 40+ minutes for just 7 minutes with their doctor. At First Primary Care, members get as much time as they need with direct access to their care team.

Dedicated Medical Home

We like to call ourselves your “medical home” because we’re here to coordinate and support all aspects of your care. Most routine medical needs can be handled in-person or virtually. We also reduce specialist referrals, and your dedicated care team guides you through the rest.

Knowing What Your Care Costs

Traditional healthcare often comes with $25–$50 co-pays and 20% co-insurance. With First Primary Care, it’s typically $0, and you’ll know any costs upfront.

No Patient Quotas

Traditional primary care providers often manage panels of 1,500–2,500 patients, which can limit each visit to just a few minutes. Our team isn’t driven by quotas. We prioritize quality and relationships over volume. With a smaller patient panel, your care team has the time to truly listen, understand your needs, and give you the attention you deserve.

Proud to keep expanding what better primary care can look like. Excited to bring First Primary Care / WOOP Care – (Waived Out Of Pocket) to Corpus Christi and grow our clinical team.

We’re growing again and opening up two n ew roles in Corpus Christi, TX after expanding into Portland, OR; Carrizo Springs, TX; Mingo Junction, OH.

We’re excited to announce that WOOP Care – (Waived Out Of Pocket) Care / First Primary Care is launching in Corpus Christi, Texas. We’re looking for: Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) and Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.

This isn’t traditional primary care. You’ll practice in a Direct Primary Care and employer-sponsored model where your focus is caring for patients, not insurance companies. For you this means longer visits, smaller panels, team-based care, virtual integration, and the opportunity to help build the future of healthcare.

Dr. Geetinder Goyal is the Founder and CEO of First Primary Care.  He studied medicine for over a decade, and then realized—our healthcare system really only takes care of the sick and no one is looking out for a patient’s overall health and well being. And that was kind of a bummer. So, he started First Primary Care to turn the system upside down and provide patients with genuine healthcare and not just “sick care”.

Dr. Goyal attended medical school at the Government Medical College in Chandigarh, India. Following that, he completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch – Galveston. Dr. Goyal then went on to Yale School of Medicine in New Haven, CT where his fellowship was in Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine.

In addition to his work at First Primary Care, Dr. Goyal serves as the President of the Houston Chapter of the Free Market Medical Association.

When he is not caring for his patients, Dr. Goyal is an avid runner, loves watching sports, and spending time with his wife, Dr. Le Vo, and their two young daughters.

The Corpus Christi area is ripe for direct primary care. First Primary Care recognizes the opportunity as does Frontier Direct Care. The Nueces County Employee Health Plan will certainly engage direct primary care services at some point as the county’s broker (Marsh) has a strong working partnership with Frontier. Competition between First Primary Care and Frontier will be good for consumers. Will there be a third direct primary care provider show up? We think so.
