The Edinburg Independent School District is considering a move from Blue Cross Blue Shield to United Healthcare effective January 2027.
Cost is not a factor since the district currently enjoys free Blue Cross claim administration and a claim repricing comparison between Blue Cross and United Healthcare “proves” little difference in health care pricing.
