Back in 1978 when there were only two sexes the federal government in their wisdom decided that pregnancies were the same as any other illness and should be covered by health insurance.
The Pregnancy Discrimination Act (PDA) is an amendment to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
Back then a normal delivery cost about $1,500 all in. Now it costs $20,000 or more.
Ask Mother Uganda if she cares…………………..
