Consumers are empowered to seek medical care from any provider of choice, providers maintain complete independence (a first), and it permanently ends the surprise of balance billing everyone is concerned about these days.
Unfortunately the reason this strategy is not as pervasive, as one would expect in today’s market, is because most insurance brokers (supply chain managers) continue to subscribe to status quo solutions and they are adverse to leaving their profitable comfort zone.
