SWBC is expanding its Employee Benefits Consulting Group into the Austin and Central Texas market.

Jonathan Amato will be heading up the new group and will be consulting with companies in the Central Texas region about their employee benefits programs. The new group will work with multiple carriers and providers to offer flexible plan designs, cost-control strategies, reduced administrative costs, technological strength, and online enrollment.

“We are excited about Jonathan’s move to Austin,” said Linda Hummel, CEO of SWBC Employee Benefits Consulting Group, in a news release. “He has a lot of expertise to share with companies in Central Texas needing strategic advice for their employee benefits platforms.”

Amato, a graduate of Sam Houston State University, has been with the company for seven years. He currently holds a General Lines Agent’s Life, Accident, Health & HMO license and a Life and Health Insurance Counselor license.

San Antonio-based SWBC is a diversified financial services company that provides insurance, mortgage and investment services to financial institutions, businesses and individuals.
