Allstate Insurance Co. has plans to approve 20 agency offices in the San Antonio and Austin markets this year as part of a broader plan to add 130 new agency owners in Texas.

Of that total, Allstate plans to add 40 agency owners in the Dallas-Fort Worth area; 44 agency owners in the Houston area; 14 agency owners in West Texas and 12 agency owners in East Texas, in addition to the 20 offices in Central Texas.

Allstate is looking to add more agent-owned offices in Texas due to the state’s strong population growth.

If the company is successful in approving new Allstate offices, these agencies could hire as many as 300 licensed sales professionals to staff these offices.
