Children’s Hospital of San Antonio officials have agreed to accept Superior Health Plan members, effective March 1.
“The signing of this agreement will allow for the Children’s Hospital of San Antonio to better meet the needs of all children, regardless of their insurance plan, in San Antonio and South Texas — as we extend our healing ministry,” says Christus Santa Rosa Health System President and CEO Pat Carrier.
The Children’s Hospital is owned and operated by Christus.
With the addition of Superior Health, the Children’s Hospital now accepts Aetna Better Health, Amerigroup, Community First, Molina Healthcare and traditional Medicaid. The Superior Health Plan agreement extends to all hospitals within the Christus health system in San Antonio and New Braunfels.
