No matter how you slice it, no matter where you live, no matter what your deductible is, you can expect an employee rate for a typical PPO group plan to be +$500 per month. Funding anything less is either a rare, justifiable outlier or just poor “hope it gets better” deficit financing.
The average above is $627. It would be interesting to see what it is for 2025.
